Blocking and setup of my 'Fishy' creature

So I thought I should share some of the very early stages of my design process in 3D with some pointers that you can refer to from the quick time lapse video I'm sharing:

Workflow tips:

  • Use Dynamesh (or Sculptris Pro) to freely explore shapes
  • Keep Dynamesh resolution VERY low... it makes it easy to push and pull things around
  • Focus on the big shapes and silhouette
  • Keep the brushes you use limited... Move, Dam_Standard, Clay BuildUp and Mask/Smooth
