Alright, here is the re-cap for the hard surface workshop. I went a bit over the scheduled time but I think you'll find the additional techniques for refinement useful.
One thing I'd say about the process I show you in the workshop is that this is something I would use in cases where I need to design and create something new directly in 3D.
If you want to follow a specific concept or have a solid reference that you want to recreate in 3D, there are times where is a lot easier to just use the box modelling approach to build a part separately to have a clean base mesh from the start.
