A monthly dose of 3D art-related stuff by Pablo Munoz Gomez

So I decided to do a quick test on Procreate with the monster sketch and I thought you guys might be interested in my thought process when doodling in 2D when I'm planning for a 3D outcome...

Basically I treat the construction of the 2D illustration like I would think it might work when I get to ZBrush or any other 3D software. The first step is to split the sketch into parts to make it more manageable and block in the colour and silhouette... pretty much the same as blocking in 3D and splitting into subtools.
