A monthly dose of 3D art-related stuff by Pablo Munoz Gomez

Sketching and designing sci-fi vehicles is a lot of fun and I have enjoyed testing different apps on the iPad to help me speed up the iteration process... but, we have to move on and get into the proper setup of the project.

I have lots of ideas from the sketches I shared but, as always, I like to continue the exploration of the design in ZBrush. In this post, I'm going to cover a pretty cool workflow to create some smooth and clean surfaces for your fancy sci-fi vehicles.

It might not look like much right now but you'll see how much more interesting this becomes in the next few posts. Like with any other thing I do in 3D, the silhouette and primary shapes are what really matters ;)
