A bit of a late start for this month's project but it is going to be lots of fun. I decided to start the sketching process and design directly in ZBrush and hopefully to demystify the apparent gap that there is between what's considered 'organic' sculpting vs 'Hard-Surface' modelling.
I recorded a time-laps of the 3d sketching process and after a quick ZBrush session here is what I came up with as a starting point (keeps scrolling for the video):
