A monthly dose of 3D art-related stuff by Pablo Munoz Gomez

Get ready, this post might be a bit long but it has some substantial tips on sculpting and getting our base character ready for detailing.  In this post I'm going to cover the process I went through to turn our very rough blockout into a decent sculpt (for the body, we'll tackle the other pieces later).

Basically, I'm going to show you how I went from the image on the left to the one on the right (including the topology transition and all that):

There are still some volumes and anatomy fixes that need to be done, but I'll work on those as I develop the rest of the meshes for the character... I'm thinking he could be drinking from a horn and maybe add a massive shield on his back.
