A monthly dose of 3D art-related stuff by Pablo Munoz Gomez

This sci-fi 'speed racer' concept is very different from what I usually do so it has been a great project to push me out of my comfort zone.

In this post, I'm going to show you the final renders of the concept and break down a few things for the rendering process that you might find useful. Also, in my previous update, I showed you a technique to texture the model with Decals using Keyshot, but you can use that technique in other rendering applications so I'll show you a couple of examples of that with Maverick and Stager (plus some Blender tips).

In terms of the texturing and shading, there is nothing new from what I covered in the previous post. I just added some glowing elements to accentuate certain areas like the turbines and engine lights.
